About Maggie
I've always harboured a secret desire to be a spy, or a super-skilled martial artist, or an actress — something fearless and unexpected. Writing has been the perfect compromise. I can be any of those things and not risk death or stage fright . . . or death by stage fright. When not writing, I'm a freelance fiction editor, and I live in Canada just outside of Toronto with my husband and two children.
My amateur sleuth mystery, MY TRUE CRIME GOOD TIME, is about to hit the query trenches. Here's its logline:
When romance editor Dahlia Black goes off her anti-anxiety meds, she makes an amazing discovery: She doesn’t need them! All she needs is Dateline. NBC's hit crime documentary provides the perfect blueprint to keep herself safe.
Keith Morrison: Or so she thought. But as always, Fate had something else on her mind. Something like murder.
